(Red Oak) The Atlantic girls tennis team picked up four singles victories and a doubles win in district play against St. Albert on Wednesday morning at Atlantic.
Jacobi Harter, Lily Willrich, Dylin Ball, and Taryn O’Brien each won their singles matches for the Trojans.
Harter defeated Ruby Narmi, 6-4, 6-1, while Willrich beat Joslyn Boswell, 7-6 (3), 6-0.
Ball earned a three-set victory over Madelyn Dawson, 4-6, 6-1, 12-10, and O’Brien defeated Brooklyn Hughes, 6-4, 7-6 (5), 13-11.
St. Albert picked up two singles wins, with Maeve Ryan defeating Hope Hammontree, 6-3, 6-1, and Lexi Pearce beating Sophie Rose, 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles, Harter and Ball defeated Narmi and Boswell, 6-0, 6-1, to secure the win.
Atlantic moves on to the semi-finals on Wednesday, September 30.
