(Corning, IA) — It’s been tough sledding in the first two games of district play for the Southwest Valley Timberwolves, and they look to get back on track at home against AHSTW.
Last week, the Timberwolves were victims of an excellent showing by Riverside for their homecoming, losing to the Bulldogs 55-0. Southwest Valley lost to ACGC beforehand, putting them at 0-2 in Class A District 7. Head Coach Keegan Longabough says the team has been in a tough position as of recent:
The Timberwolves host an experienced AHSTW team that is also looking to improve their district play. The Vikings are riding a 27-6 win over Nodaway Valley which put them at 1-1 following their road loss to Riverside. Coach Longabough praises their balanced offense and consistently sound defense:
