(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department is reporting several arrests and citations from September 3rd through September 20th.
Among the arrests, 29-year-old Zachary Thompson of Exira was arrested for public intoxication.
Twenty-six-year-old Scott Larson of Pleasantville was arrested for first-offense OWI.
Twenty-seven-year-old Joseph Atoliph of Atlantic was arrested for second-offense OWI, open container, and driving while his license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked. He was also arrested later on a warrant for violation of probation.
Other arrests include 54-year-old Tami Smith of Atlantic for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, and 21-year-old Deion Franklin of Atlantic for reckless use of a firearm, possession or carrying of a dangerous weapon while under the influence, child endangerment and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
Grant Swanson, 21, of Atlantic, was arrested for domestic abuse assault (impeding the flow of air or blood).
Also arrested were 22-year-old Mason Jackson and 24-year-old Bailey Riesgaard of Atlantic for public intoxication; 45-year-old Anthony Taylor of Atlantic for first-offense possession of marijuana; and 20-year-old Amara Door of Atlantic for first-offense domestic abuse assault.
All those arrested were taken to the Cass County Jail.
The department also cited three people into court.
James and Sandra Bates, ages 80 and 79, both of Stanton, were cited for fifth-degree theft (shoplifting).
Twenty-year-old Corbin Davis of Atlantic was cited for simple assault.
