(Ames) Chase Jahde of CAM shot an impressive one under par on day one and is one stroke off the lead going into the final round today at the Class 1A Boy’s State Golf Tournament at the Ames Golf and Country Club.
The junior shot even par 36 on his first nine holes with seven pars, one birdie, and one bogey. Jahde shot a one under par 34 on his second nine with two birdies, six pars, and two bogeys for an 18-day total of 70. Keith Thompson of Hamburg finished his first round at a two under par, 69.
