Villisca Man arrested on Assault Charges

(Red Oak) A Villisca man faces an assault charge in Montgomery County.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of West 6th Street in Villisca for an assault in progress. Following the investigation, Officers arrested Douglas Kirsch on two counts of Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense and Interference with Official Acts.

Deputies transported Kirsch to the Montgomery County Jail and held him no bond.

Red Oak Police and the Villisca Fire and Rescue assisted the Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
