(Shenandoah, IA) — Lewis Central won the Fillie Invitational at Shenandoah Community Golf Course on Friday afternoon. Chloe Perfect led the way with the best round of (+4) 76 as the Titans had a team score of 371 — two strokes ahead of Earlham with a 373. Clarinda was a close third with a 376; Denison Schleswig 4th (384) and the Fillies rounded out the top 5 on their home course with a 387.
East Union 6th (400); Red Oak 7th (407); Mount Ayr 8th (433); Sidney 9th (433); St. Albert 10th (435); Creston 11th (446); Glenwood 12th (448); Southwest Valley 13th (454); Harlan 14th (459; CBL 15th (477); and East Mills only had three golfers.
Taylor Rasmussen of Clarinda was the runner up with a (+6) 78 and the Cardinals Abby Weinrich was 3rd with a (+11) 83. Jaylee Shaffer of the Raiderettes was 4th with a (+12) 84 and Sarah Pickens of Shenandoah rounded out the top 5 with a (+12) 84.
Emily Sebeniecher of Red Oak was 7th with a (+14) 86.
Low round for Southwest Valley was Sidney Crill with a 107 and was in 30th place.
Low round for Harlan was Sienna Michels with a 111 and finished in 40th place.
