(Lenox, IA) — Mount Ayr swept the individual and team titles at the Lenox Tiger Boys Tournament on Friday afternoon. The Raiders won with a score of 331 just 4 strokes ahead of the hometown Tigers with a 335. Creston was third with 339 and CAM was 4th with a 341. Red Oak was 5th (343); Sidney 6th (403); Southeast Warren 7th (431); and Moravia 8th (462).
Jaxson Greene of Mount Ayr was the champ with a (+4) 76 with two birdies, 6 bogeys and 10 pars.
Madden Cary of CAM was the runner up with a (+6) 78 — Cary bogeyed 4 of his first 6 holes before getting a birdie on the par 4 11th hole and then ripped off six straight pars before bogeying 18. He followed that up with a birdie 4 on the par 5 first hole, then went bogey, double bogey and par to finish his round after starting on hole 5.
Other scores for CAM: Braxton Dennis 11th with an 86; Kason Calhoun 12th with an 86; Kayden Winther 22nd with a 91; Carson McKee 26th with a 94; Erik Almelien 31st with a 98.
Laramie Stoaks was the low round for Lenox with a 79 to finish third. Adrian Schlapia was 7th with a 82.
Weston Crouse of Red Oak finished in 6th place with a 81.
