(Atlantic) The Atlantic boys’ basketball team heads to Shenandoah tonight on the heels of back-to-back wins over Lewis Central and Nodaway Valley.
Atlantic Head Coach Derek Hall was impressed with the team’s defense early against Nodaway Valley on Saturday.
Hall says a win tonight heading into the Christmas break would be significant for his team.
Shenandoah enters the contest with a 1-8 record. The team is led in scoring by Zach Foster, averaging 9-points per game, and Nolan Mount averaging six.
Colton Rasmussen leads the Trojans in scoring, averaging 17-points per game. Dayton Templeton is averaging 16-points per outing.
This is a part of a girl/boy doubleheader at Shenandoah tonight. The girl’s game tips off at 6:00 p.m. with the boy’s game to follow. We will have both games broadcast on 95.7 FM.
