(Guthrie Center, IA) — The West Central Conference Track and Field meet was held on Tuesday night at AC/GC High School. Van Meter won the girls competition while Des Moines Christian won the boys side even without their star Caleb Ten Pas.
For the Chargers, there were no conference champions for the girls but Brexton Schneider won the 110 Hurdles and anchored the Shuttle Hurdle Relay to a first place finish.
Reed Draper of Panorama won the title in Long Jump and Willow Ray of West Central Valley won the High Jump.
Paige Richards of Madrid had the best night of anyone with four individual first place finishes in the 100, 200, 400 and Long Jump.
