(Woodbine, IA) — Woodbine continued its dominance in the Rolling Valley Conference as both girls and boys won on their home track. The girls won with 173 points ahead of CAM with 117; the boys won with 189 points ahead of the Cougars with 133.
Ada Hansen of CAM won four individual titles in the 400, 800, 100 Hurdles and 400 Hurdles. Ruthie Rich won the Long Jump and Courtney Follmann won the Discus. For the boys, Zach Kauffman won the 800 with a season PR time of 2:07.59 and anchored the Sprint Medley to a first place finish. Collin Bower won the 400 Hurdles and was second in the 400 with a season PR of 52.24.
Woodbine’s Landon Blum won four events in the 100, High Jump and part of the 4×100 and 4×200 relays. The Tigers won 10 of the 14 combined relays between boys and girls.
Paton Churdan’s Trevon Keely did not compete in the conference meet.
