(Cass Co.) The Iowa State Bar Association is joining legal professionals across the country for the 2026 National Law Day of Action, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Attorney J.C. Van Ginkel appeared before the Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning to present a proclamation and an American flag commemorating the event, which coincides with Law Day on May 1.
Van Ginkel noted the three branches of government—legislative, executive, and judicial—and said the pendulum swings back and forth between the legislative and executive branches.
