Flood Watch for Portion of Southwest Iowa

(Area) A Flood Watch is in effect from 4:00 AM through 11:00 AM Thursday morning for Audubon, Cass, Adair, Adams, Union, and Taylor counties.

The National Weather Service in Des Moines says training storms with heavy rainfall may lead to localized flash flooding early Thursday morning.

Excessive runoff may result in flooding rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
