(Atlantic) The Relay For Life of Cass County committee is calling all cancer survivors, caregivers, and community members to come together for an evening of comradery on June 28, 2026. The Relay For Life event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shildberg Recreation Area – West Shelter (102 Buck Creek Road, Atlantic). Everyone is invited to come enjoy a picnic meal, survivor and caregiver walk, and short program.
A time for fellowship will be enjoyed during a picnic meal graciously provided by Atlantic HyVee. Pinwheels will be available for purchase to honor survivors and remember those we have lost. Survivors and caregivers will be given the opportunity to share a short walk at 7:00 p.m. and we will have a short program to recognize survivors present and pinwheel honorees.
Any survivors that would like a t-shirt from the American Cancer Society must register online at relayforlife.org/casscountyia or call 1-800-227-2345 and choose option #4. T-shirts will then be directly mailed to those that register.
