(Dunlap, IA) — Boyer Valley hosted a Co Ed Meet on Monday night and Riverside dominated the boys side with 144 points with IKM Manning in 2nd with 120.
The Bulldogs highlight of the night was the Distance Medley relay that got a new season PR of 3:40.78 with Cole Jeppesen, Jaxon Gordon, Owen Fenner and Dawson Henderson. The went from #7 in Class 1A to #5. The Bulldogs were also first in the 4×100, 4×200, and 4×400 relays. Owen Fenner won the 1600 and set a new season PR of 4:33.36. Jaxon Gordon won the 110 Hurdles; Cruz Jacquez won the 800 and Colton Hering won the 3200.
If Riverside wants to push for a team title at the state meet they will need to score points in the field events and they won three of them on Monday — Cole Jeppesen in the Long Jump, Wyatt Bell in the Shot Put and Trent Spiering in the Discus.
For the girls, IKM Manning won with 171 points ahead of Logan Magnolia with 125.
