(Council Bluffs) Kuemper, Catholic topped the field at the Hawkeye Ten Conference Girls’ Golf Tournament on Monday at the Whispering Woods Golf Club in Council Bluffs. The Knights shot +83 on the par 71 course. Shenandoah finished second with a +84, St. Albert, third, (+85), Lewis Central, fourth, (+87), Clarinda, fifth, (+92), Atlantic, sixth, (+112), Red Oak, seventh, (+117), Denison-Schleswig, eighth, (+129), Harlan, ninth, (+149), Glenwood, tenth, (+151), and Creston, eleventh, (+168).
Chloe Perfect of Lewis Central won the individual conference title with an eight over par 79. Taylor Rasmussen finished runner-up with an 80.
The Knights placed two in the top twelve (All-Conference). Addy Beiter shot an 84 and finished in fourth, and Brooklyn Lahr finished in eighth place with a 90. Elsa Tiefenthaler and Glada Lujano finished in 17th and 18th with a 96 and 97 respectively.
Scoring for Atlantic- Makenna Schroeder led the way with a 14th place, 94, Madison McLaren, 15th, (95), Hope Hammontree, 26th, (103), and Reese Ball finished 28th with a score of 104.
