(Lewis, Iowa) One person died and another suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident northeast of Lewis.
The Iowa State Patrol says accident happened around 5:13 p.m. on Saturday on Highway 6 and 582nd Street. Authorities say 18-year-old Cierra Bullock, of Glencoe, Minnesota was killed in the crash. Dakota Bullock, 18 of Glencoe, Minnesota, sustained minor injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol says Dakota Bullock was driving an eastbound 2025 KIA PC on Highway 6, left the roadway at the curve, rolled in the ditch ejecting the passenger Cierra Bullock, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Roland Funeral Service transported Cierra Bullock to the State Medical Examiner in Ankeny.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the Lewis Fire Department, and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
