(Ames, IA) — New Iowa St. Quarterback Jaylen Raynor is getting to know his new teammates pretty quick. The Cyclones have 81 new players this year with Raynor being one of them coming from Arkansas St. and he challenged himself to memorize everybody’s name which he says was not easy
At Arkansas St., Raynor threw for 8,694 yards, 52 TD and 28 INT his his three seasons — last year he had season highs of 3,361 passing yards with 19 TD and 11 picks. He can also run with 1,183 career rushing yards with 15 TD. He will be running a new offense at Iowa St. this fall
Raynor is a senior and this is his last season of eligibility — spring practice concludes this Saturday with the spring showcase game at Jack Trice Stadium.
