(Ames, IA) – With the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament coming up in just a few weeks, Iowa State is providing an advance notice of the process to order tickets. The NCAA only provided a total of 400 tickets to each participating institution for the preliminary rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
Cyclone Club members are allotted 220 tickets, Iowa State students get 40 tickets, participating student athletes’ families and guests are allotted 78 tickets, and coaches’ families and athletics administrative members are allotted 60 tickets for the tournament. Cyclone Club members who are also men’s season ticketholders will be eligible for a max of four tickets if they are at the Director’s level. If the game is played in Omaha, there will be an even higher demand which will limit the ticket number to the top 50-60 Director’s accounts.
Tickets will start at $120 or $90 each for the first-round game and will only include the Iowa State game, no other games that day. All tickets are based on availability and will be available to Cyclone Club members who may be placed in the upper-deck sections depending on where the Cyclones will be placed to play.
The NCAA Selection Sunday show is scheduled for March 17th at 5:00 p.m. to determine who Iowa State will face off against in the opening round. Fans who are unable to purchase tickets through Iowa State’s limited ticket allotment should check the host sites for availability. You can check cyclones.com for all information on the Cyclones as they look to head to the tournament.
