(Cass/Audubon Co.) The Valley Business Park board land sale held at the Cass County Community Center on Thursday sold for $16,000 per acre.
The Valley Business Park contains 156 acres of property located at I-80 and Highway 71 in both Cass County and Audubon Counties.
Cass County Board of Supervisor Chairman Steve Baier says the land sale indicates the strength of today’s farmland values.
Iowa Land Co handled the auction. Valley Business Park board members agreed to sell the property as both counties have a lot of economic development opportunities that the sale of this property can help facilitate.
