(Cass Co) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved a secondary roads project during their meeting Tuesday morning.
County Engineer Trent Wolken said the county is moving into the final plans for Bridge #262 on 710th Street, south of Independence Road.
Wolken said the project could go to letting in January or February. He does not have a timeline for construction yet, but expects the project could be eligible to begin in the spring.
Wolken also said crews are working to catch up on road work following recent rains. Crews are doing a lot of mowing, blading and spot rock work to get the roads ready for harvest.
