Updated: Nebraska Man Faces Charges Following Pursuit in Cass County

(Wiota) A Blair, Nebraska Man faces multiple charges for following a pursuit in Cass County on Sunday afternoon.

Iowa State Patrol Trooper and Public Information Officer Ryan DeVault told KSOM-KS95 News that an Iowa State Patrol Trooper initiated a stop in Anita, and the driver of a 2026 Yamaha R6 motorcycle, identified as 18-year-old Sahm Roman, fled. The pursuit ended on White Pole Road west of Wiota.

Roman faces charges of reckless driving, improper overtaking, speeding, and eluding.

Officers transported him to the Cass County Jail.
