The Indians go back-to-back and win their 3rd state title overall. Rachel Eglseder put Ed-Co up 1-0 with a RBI single in the first but two Viking errors led to Clarksville’s first run in the bottom of the 2nd. Faith Dugan for Ed-Co hit a solo HR in the top of the 3rd but Hannah Wangsness answered with a RBI double to tie it at 2-2 in the bottom of the 3rd. The big hit came from the number 9 hitter Eve Jordan who hit a go ahead 2 run HR in the bottom of the 4th and the Indians added an insurance run to take a 3 run lead that they would not relinquish.
