(Panora, IA) – At the Lake Panorama National Golf Course in District play, Panorama was able to take first overall as a team with a total of 303 team points. Coming up right behind was Pella Christian in second with two strokes over first at 305. Treynor and Des Moines Christian was a close matchup for third as the Cardinals earned third by one stroke with a 322 while the Lions scored 323. Pleasantville came in fifth with 338, OABCIG earned sixth with 340, and Woodward-Granger took seventh with 345.
In terms of individual results, Panorama’s Evan Powell earned first with a 71 while helping the team take a first-place finish. Three golfers were able to shoot a 72 with Pella Christian’s Isaiah Breems earning runner-up, OABCIG’s Axton Miller earning third, and Deacon Branderhorst for Pella Christian coming in fourth. Treynor’s Ethan Konz was able to take fifth with a 73, Panorama’s Maddox Hammerstrom shot 75 in sixth, and teammate Parker Cary shot a 76 to earn seventh. Three golfers finished off the top ten with 77’s including Shenandoah’s Jade Spangler in eighth, Woodward-Granger’s Landon Chambers in ninth, and Des Moines Christian’s Parker Ellingboe earned tenth.
