(Red Oak) Montgomery County Supervisor Donna Robinson reported on the electronic recycling event at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, April 10, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Robinson says this includes computers, laptops, televisions, printers, appliances, cell phones, stereos, cameras, power tools, yard equipment, batteries, and more. Robinson says tires can be brought to the event. The limit is ten vehicle tires per person (no tractor tires).
In other business, Montgomery County Auditor Jill Ozuna highlighted the 86-page audit for Fiscal Year 2022 at Tuesday’s supervisors meeting.
Ozuna says the county’s revenues totaled $12 million-967-thousand-303 for the year ending June 30, 2022. This is a 1.5 percent decrease from the previous year. The expenses for county operations totaled $11 million-548-thousand-756, a three-percent decrease from the previous year.
The supervisors also approved $40,948.00 in additional square footage for tuckpointing on the west elevation and a quote of $800.00 to spray the Lawn at the Law Enforcement Center.
The board approved claims totaling $162,782.64, sheriff’s fees for February totaling $6,802.08, Recorders fees for February totaling $6,802.08, Recorders Fees for February totaling $13,127.35, and the Treasurer’s semi-annual report of $18,220,874.31.
