(Anita, IA) – If you’ve ever wanted to go out and run with the CAM cross-country team or are ready to support a local team for their homecoming week, the Cougars have it for you in Anita. CAM is hosting their fun run and walk tomorrow in celebration of homecoming week and wants the community there to support the runners and walkers or even be a runner or walker yourself! Coach Deb Brown is more than excited about the event for her athletes and the community.
There are a few different courses to choose from and you don’t have to participate like you are back in high school, but rather to be out and enjoying your time celebrating homecoming.
The event is open to anybody of any age as there are medals for the winner and runner-up in the event. You also don’t have to worry about bringing that water as there will be refreshments at the end of the race.
If you are interested, you can go to Anita to register the day of to sign up for the event at Victory Park from 4:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. To get a form ahead of time, you can stop by either CAM school to pick one up to participate in the event.
Zach Collins and Austin West will be running in the event in support of the CAM cross-country team and to help support a great event.
