(Ames, IA) — One of the new Iowa St. starters on the Defensive Line is Senior Tackle Bryson Lamb. Last year, Lamb was a starter in all 12 games for Head Coach Jimmy Rogers at Washington St. finishing the season with 25 tackles, 3.5 TFLs and 1.5 sacks. Lamb says you know where you stand with this coaching staff
Lamb was a 220 pound skinny linebacker at high school but he beefed up and switched to defensive tackle because he said it was the best way to get a roster spot in college. He was with the Cougars the last four years but he stayed loyal to this coaching staff and moved with them to Iowa St.
With so many newcomers in Ames, Iowa St. is picked to finish dead last in the Big 12 Pre Season polls and Lamb is ready to prove the so called experts wrong
Iowa St. opens their season on September 5 against Southeast Missouri, coverage all season long on KSOM.
