(Kossuth Co.) One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Kossuth County Monday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says a 2014 Peterbilt semi, driven by 40-year-old Teddy Kutsch of Brule, Nebraska, was southbound on 90th Avenue and failed to stop at the intersection of 210th Street. The semi collided with an eastbound 2022 Chevy Equinox, driven by 47-year-old Carolee Wise of Emmetsburg, Iowa.
Carolee Wise was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Teddy Kutsch and 76-year-old Bernadette Wise, of Emmetsburg, were both transported by Algona EMS to the Kossuth Regional Health Center.
The accident remains under investigation.
