(Atlantic) Vision Atlantic invites residents and visitors from across the region to experience Home for the Holidays at Camblin Hills, a Holiday Parade of Homes taking place Saturday, November 28, from 4-7 p.m. and Sunday, November 29, from 1-4 p.m.
Held over Thanksgiving weekend, the event will bring holiday magic to Camblin Hills as local retailers and businesses transform properties throughout the development into festive Christmas showcases. From traditional holiday charm to creative seasonal displays, each stop will offer a unique experience and plenty of decorating inspiration.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a variety of beautifully decorated properties, including Homestead at Prairie Hills short-term rentals, newly constructed homes, and condos. Along the way, guests can enjoy beverage and food samples while taking in the holiday atmosphere.
Adding to the festivities, the Holly Jolly Trolley will run throughout the development, offering rides between stops and making the experience even more memorable.
“We want Home for the Holidays to be something really special for Atlantic and the surrounding communities,” said Jessie Shiels, Vision Atlantic Board Vice President. “It’s a chance to bring people together, showcase the creativity of our local businesses, and give visitors a whole new way to experience Camblin Hills. We hope people come for the Christmas decorations and holiday fun, but leave with an even greater appreciation for everything happening in Atlantic.”
While the event promises plenty of holiday cheer, it also supports a larger purpose. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Vision Atlantic’s ongoing fundraising efforts for housing, childcare, and recreation projects. The event also provides an opportunity to showcase the housing options available at Camblin Hills and the continued investment being made in Atlantic’s future.
Tickets are $15 per person and include admission to the decorated properties, beverage and food samples, and Holly Jolly Trolley rides throughout the development.
Tickets are available online at Home for the Holidays at Camblin Hills or in person at the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce office, 102 Chestnut Street in Atlantic. Additional ticket locations will be announced as the event approaches. More details, including the local retailers and businesses bringing the holiday displays to life, will be shared in the coming weeks.
