(Cass Co.) The Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning approved the purchase of property for the county maintenance sheds.
County Engineer Trent Wolken is working to update the aging facilities. One of the properties he is looking to purchase is north of the current maintenance shed in Anita.
The other property is a half acre of land near Griswold at a cost of $10,000. The Supervisors voted three to two to approve the purchases, with Wendy Richter and Mark O’Brien voting nay.
The Supervisors also approved a request to fill the vacant Secondary Roads Operator 1 position in Atlantic.
