(Humeston) A Polk County man died in a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in Decatur County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 1:17 p.m. on Popcorn Road and 110th Street in Humeston. Authorities identified the victim as 74-year-old Robert Stuart Fogle, of Des Moines.
Fogle was driving a 1928 Ford Model A west on Popcorn Road west of 110th Street when the vehicle lost control, entered the north ditch, and struck a concrete culvert. Robert Fogle was pronounced deceased at the scene and transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
