(Carroll, IA) — The Glenwood Rams dominated the Carroll Co-Ed Early Bird Meet on Thursday night. Glenwood’s girls were first with 142.67 points and Boone was 2nd at 101.33. The Ram boys dominated with 148 points ahead of Carroll in 2nd with 98.
Harlan finished in 4th place on both sides — the girls had 76 points and the boys also finished with 76 points. The Cyclones had one champion in the meet — the Boys 4×200 relay with Sam Shields, Foxx Argotsinger, Landon Nihsen and Hagen Sorensen won with a time of 1:34.33.
Other boys highlights for Harlan included Jeffrey Gross 2nd in the 1600 (4:45.86) and 2nd in the 3200 (10:23.59); Carson Tedrow 2nd in the 400 Hurdles (59.99); Erik Heslink 2nd in the 800 (2:14.30) and 4th in the 1600 (5:02.61); and Sorensen was 3rd in the 100 (11.36).
Other girls highlights for the Cyclones included Ashlyn Rau 2nd in the 3000 (11:45.62); adie Alberti 2nd in the 800 (2:45.26); Brinley Van Baale 2nd in the 400 Hurdles (1:16.18) and Aubree Wegner 3rd in the 200 (27.58).
