(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors received a funding request from Kathi Most from the Red Oak Library and approved the Weed Commissioners’ report. Additionally, the supervisors approved the Weed Commissioners’ contract for the fiscal year 2027.
Damien Bond, Weed Commissioner and Roadside Manager, stated he sent out four non-compliance letters, up from last year. The supervisor approved the report. When it comes to the contract, Bond pointed out two things.
The supervisors approved the contract between the Vegetation Manager and the Weed Commissioners.
Kathi Most, from the Red Oak Public Library, presented the library funding request for the fiscal year.
Under new business, the supervisor approved the claims payable for December 10 in the amount of $66,498.74, approved the Recorder’s report for November 30, for $12,932.05, approved the Sheriff’s fees for November 30 of $3,192.00, and approved the Treasurer’s semi-annual report ending fund balance for November 30 in the amount of $13,207 856.91.
