(Atlantic) Ann Bruck is not selling bitcoin. That is the message Ann, owner of a well-known Photography business, “Designer Portraits,” in Atlantic, wants to get out to her friends, customers, and prospective clients.
On December 1, Ann discovered her Facebook pages (business and personal) were hacked, and the scammers began sending out messages and tagging customers and friends about Cryptocurrency-bitcoin. Bruck has been trying to get her pages back to no avail.
Bruck says it appeared computer experts got this stopped until just before Christmas when scammers hacked her Facebook Page. The hackers took over her account, messaging her friends that she was doing something new: selling bitcoins, which was not the case.
Ann warns others that this is a significant scam. If affected, an FBI form is available to fill out just for this particular scam. She says many people have reported this to Facebook, but nothing has been done.
In the meantime, Ann Bruck and Designers Portraits are still in business and not selling cryptocurrency. This affects her life, business, clients, friends, and family, and she sees no end to it. She felt it important to officially announce to the community that Designers Portraits is still open and booking appointments in person or by phone. At this time, she is not able to book appointments through social media.
Ann Bruck apologizes for the confusion and inconvenience caused by this hacker and thanks everyone for their support and patience during this frustrating and violating time. I also want to thank everyone for passing this information to friends, family, co-workers, and acquaintances.
