Jerry “Barney” Dean Zimmerline, 71, of Fontanelle, Iowa passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2024.
Barney was born March 1, 1952, in Greenfield, Iowa, the son of Alwin Lyman Zimmerline and Mildred Maxine (Knorr) Zimmerline.
Barney is survived by his wife, Mara; two daughters, Justi Zimmerline and special friend Boe Marckmann, Juree Christensen and husband Josh; and one son, Jade Zimmerline. Eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and additional family and friends.
Family Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Fontanelle Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Services will be held Wednesday, February 28, at 10:30 A.M. at the Fontanelle Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
