(Anita) CAM heads into Week 7 with an undefeated mark and top ranking in 8-player football. The Cougars have outscored the opposition 65-15 through week 6.
Head Coach Barry Bower had this to say when asked about what impresses him most about his team’s performance up to this point in the season with two regular-season outings left on the schedule.
CAM has rushed for 2,768 total yards, heading into week 7, for an average of 461 yards per game.
CAM faces Coon Rapids-Bayard this Friday night. Bower says what is scary about the Crusaders is the athletes they put on the field.
Bower says the key will be identifying players like Tanner Oswald, Easton Hayes, Gabe Obert, Preston McAllister, and others.
CAM is 6-0 and 4-0 in the district, Audubon is 5-1, and 3-1 in district play, Boyer Valley, 4-2, and 3-1, Coon Rapids-Bayard is 3-3, and 1-3, Exira-EHK, 3-3, and 1-3, West Harrison, 3-3 overall and in the district, and Woodbine, is 1-5.
