(Anita, IA) — CAM put together an incredible service night with 15 total aces as they swept Audubon in three sets in a Rolling Valley Conference volleyball game on Tuesday night.
It was Junior Mady Lynds leading the way for the Cougars with unofficially 8 aces — she had just one in her varsity career as CAM won 25-17, 25-19, and 25-17.
In set one, Ruthie Rich and Ada Hansen had 4 kills apiece and leading 6-4 scored 8 of the next 11 points to take a 14-7 lead and went on to win the set.
Set two was close early with 8 ties — Audubon led 15-14 but the Cougars got a side out and Madison Lynds went on a run, winning 8 straight points including 4 aces and 3 in a row.
Audubon came out in set three and led 7-1 but CAM came back and with Morgan Will getting two aces in a row, the Cougars took a 12-9 lead and never trailed the rest of the way as Keely Kinney got the game ending kill.
