(Glenwood) A Glenwood man was arrested on multiple charges after officers responded to a call for an assault Tuesday evening.
The Glenwood Police Department says when officers responded 27-year-old James Maschka attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended by officers and deputies. Maschka was charged with Assault, two counts of Criminal Mischief 5th Degree, and Interference with Official Acts.
Officers then obtained a search warrant and executed it at Maschka’s apartment. Narcotics and paraphernalia were seized. Maschka was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, two counts of Child Endangerment and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
James Maschka was held at the Mills County Jail on $31,000 bond.
