(Corning, IA) — Practice has begun for the Southwest Valley football team as they prepare for their Week Zero game on August 21 against Panorama. The Timberwolves are coming off a 3-5 season; Head Coach Keegan Longabaugh says there is a lot of excitement running around the program right now. Southwest Valley is in Class A, District 7 with AC/GC, AHSTW, Mount Ayr, Nodaway Valley, and Riverside. Central Decatur was in the district last year but dropped out this season because of a lack of numbers.
