(Atlantic) Sunnyside Pool is gearing up for an exciting 2026 summer season and wants to take a moment to remind the community that time is running out to take advantage of discounted summer pool passes. The final day to purchase passes at the lower rate is May 5th. After this date, all passes will be moved to the new 2026 pricing. Passes are available for purchase with a card on the online form (QR code or the link is on the Sunnyside Pool Facebook) or you can pay by cash or check at the YMCA.
Adding to the excitement, Sunnyside Pool is pleased to announce its official opening weekend schedule. New this year a members-only soft opening will take place on May 29th, giving pass holders an exclusive first splash of the season. The pool will then open to the general public on May 30th, kicking off a full summer of fun for the entire community.
Community members are encouraged to secure their passes early to enjoy not only the discounted rate, but also access to the exclusive members-only opening day.
Sunnyside Pool is also proud to share a new opportunity to help make summer more accessible for local families. Thanks to a generous donation from Meyer & Gross Real Estate, a limited number of scholarship pool passes will be available for individuals and families in need of financial assistance to buy a pass.
Scholarship passes will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the month of May, and are available for both individual and group passes.
To apply, individuals should complete a financial assistance application at the YMCA and provide proof of income. Assistance will be awarded on a sliding scale, ensuring support is distributed based on each family’s needs.
