(Guthrie Center, IA) — The AC/GC Volleyball team will host Ogden tonight in a Class 2A, Regional 7 Quarterfinal.
The Chargers set a school record for wins in a season after going 30-10. Senior Stella Largent has set a single season record with 665 kills which currently leads the entire state. Largent also has school records for career kills and career aces. While Largent is extremely talented, defenses will focus on blocking her and Head Coach Caley Vaughan hopes others will step up when needed
Senior Nora Langgaard has played solid in the middle on defense with 40 Blocks to lead AC/GC
The Chargers beat Ogden 3-1 in early September – the Bulldogs have a balanced hitting attack with five players having 92 or more kills
Ogden is 23-11 on the season – the winner will face either the #1 seed in Region 7 Woodward Granger or South Central Calhoun.
