(Atlantic) Atlantic Municipal Utilities responded to a water main break at 6th and Palm in Atlantic on Sunday afternoon.
Steve Tjepkes, General Manager of AMU, said the call came in at around noon.
Tjepkes expressed his appreciation for the water department and their hard work in responding to the situation.
He also mentioned that Marne experienced a water pressure issue within the city limits on Sunday. Crews flushed the water mains and issued a boil advisory, which will remain in effect until water test results confirm that the water is safe to drink.
