(Undated) — The National Weather Service says southeastern will have an enhanced risk of severe storms today, while south central and northeastern Iowa are under a slight risk of severe weather.
There may be multiple rounds of storms throughout the day, with the most intense storms expected in the afternoon. Large hail will be the primary threat, while damaging winds and tornadoes are possible.
The western side of the state is under marginal or no risk.
