(Atlantic) Atlantic Trees Forever announces that spring tree vouchers are available beginning April 24, Arbor Day. We ask that you limit one voucher per homeowner so more people can get a start replacing trees that are being removed. No vouchers are available before April 24.
Tree vouchers are a great way to help cover the cost of planting a tree. The vouchers are for $30 off the cost of a tree, and can be obtained at the Atlantic Hyvee, 1630 E 7th Street, when you purchase a tree. We do ask that the voucher information be completed. This information is of great help to Atlantic Trees.
Forever. Dolly Bergmann of Atlantic Trees Forever said there is a limited number of vouchers available. Those at the Hy-Vee Garden Center can help you determine what kind of tree would work best in the location you would like to plant a tree.
It is important to water the trees this spring and during the summer, even into the fall, until the ground freezes.
