(Atlantic) Atlantic Defensive Coordinator Lee Saathoff named Class 3A Iowa High School Assistant Football Coach of the Year.
Atlantic Head Football Coach Joe Brummer says this is a big honor for Coach Saathoff, and he has done a fantastic job not only this past season but in years past.
Brummer says Saathoff is one of those guys regarding anything Atlantic, whether it’s boys’ or girls’ sports, or the youth, he is always there to help and volunteer.
Brummer says the Iowa Football Coaches Association sends out a nomination form. Coach Brummer filled out the form nominating Saathoff.
Brummer adds the Trojan Football Staff has a quality group of Assistant Coaches, including Middle School Coaches Duff, Roller, Roland, and Casey.
