(Des Moines) Governor Kim Reynolds said the White House on Tuesday held its weekly COVID-19 update with Governor’s across the country and they announced another increase in vaccine allocations to states.
Also this week, the federal retail pharmacy program kicks off with 21 national pharmacy partners and independent pharmacy networks nationwide totaling 40,000 participating locations.
Reynolds said all participating pharmacies will be announced soon and information on how to get an appointment will be provided by local public health departments and the pharmacies in their local communities. The pharmacies will also be added to the vaccine provider information on coronavirus.iowa.gov.
