A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from Midnight tonight to 9:00 a.m. Tuesday for all of southwest Iowa. The National Weather Service says while winds will be light overnight, temperatures dropping to between 5 below zero and 15 below zero will create hazardous wind chills with values between 20 to near 30 below zero.
The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
