(Des Moines) The National Weather Service expanded the Winter Weather Advisory to the eastern and southern counties in southwest Iowa.
Jim Lee with the National Weather Service in Des Moines says another round of light to moderate snow will begin falling in the region before dawn on Saturday and continue for much of the day. Lee says snow accumulations of 2-4 inches in the Atlantic area and higher amounts toward the Missouri border.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all counties south Interstate 80 to the Missouri Border from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
