Judith Kading, 78, of Altoona, lost her battle with Alzheimers on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at her home.
Graveside Services: Will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Casey, Iowa, at 11:00 a.m. The Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.
Memorials: Memorials may be directed to the Judy Kading memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Vern Kading of Altoona; step-daughter, Deena Byrd (Ron) of Donna, Texas; her seven children, Douglas Schwabe (Connie) of Denison, Iowa, Michelle Haberl (Tadd) of Arcadia, Iowa, Christi Hass of Atlantic; John Schwabe (Dawn) of Des Moines, Lisa Scott (Patrick) of Des Moines, Kathy Feilmeier (Jim) of Glidden, Iowa and Denise Boes (Cory) of Gretna, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Jahde of Bellwood, Nebraska and Shirley Ballard of Urbandale, Iowa; other relatives and friends.
