(Atlantic) The Atlantic and Marne Fire Departments responded to a barn fire north of Atlantic early this morning.
Atlantic Fire Chief Tom Cappel says the call went out at around 4:43 at 61344 Boston Road. Cappel says when they arrived, the structure had collapsed to the ground.
Chief Cappel says speaking with the owners, they learned there had been some electrical issues. However, the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time, according to Cappel.
There were no injuries. Firefighters remained at the scene for 30-45 minutes.
