(Cass Co.) The Atlantic Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol will partner Thursday, September 24th, for a multi-agency traffic enforcement project in the Atlantic and Cass County area.
Drivers can expect a heightened law enforcement presence and increased traffic enforcement throughout the day.
The project supports the Iowa Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau’s mission to improve traffic safety across Iowa’s cities, counties and the state.
Officers will place extra emphasis on enforcing Iowa’s hands-free driving and seatbelt laws.
